AUTODEPOMOD & BATH TREATMENT MODELLING

TransTech is SEPA ACCREDITED to provide AutoDEPOMOD modelling (Benthic, Slice, Calicide) and Bath Treatment (Salmosan, Excis) modelling to meet regulatory standards for aquaculture sites.  

Preliminary modelling of potential fish farm cage site scenarios and/or full modelling of site-specific benthic and chemical impacts can be undertaken.  The former enables potential aquaculture sites to be quickly evaluated, and the latter is presented in SEPA approved format for cage site discharge consent application.

TransTech produces high quality geographic information maps and photomontages of existing and/or proposed aquaculture cage and shellfish sites.

TURNKEY PROJECTS

We can provide turnkey solutions to meet the regulatory requirements of the fish farming industry.  For example, for a new salmon cage site we can undertake the hydrographic survey, produce the hydrographic report, perform a bathymetric survey, undertake the baseline benthic survey, carry out AutoDEPOMOD and bath treatment modelling, produce the modelling report, send the hydrographic, baseline benthic survey and modelling reports to SEPA for approval, write the ES for the site and complete the CAR application.  Along the way we will consult with regulators to ensure smooth progress is made.
